Denver

You went up to Denver

To pursue your life and dreams

left me behind to count up the days

why should I be thinking of you

I was cursed to adore you

In my mind it's a load to bear

When deep inside I loathe to care

I am not going to sit here

and write to you

I will pursue my life and dreams right here
